HOW TO HAVE THE DREAMIEST BUBBLE BATH.

TUB TIME is the time of day I look forward to all day. It’s the one thing that really relaxes me after a day at work, eases all stresses + strains and rids my body of negative energy. I want to share with you some of my favourite products that I like to use every week when perfecting the ultimate BUBBLE BATH.

BODY BRUSHING – If you feel like a cellulite sally (like me) + are quite self conscious of the dreaded orange peel then body brushing is your new best friend! I try + do it every day but it doesn’t always happen but I promise you if done regularly you will notice a difference. Alongside body brushing, drinking plenty of water + regular exercise you can BANISH CELLULITE. I bought my body brush in Planet Organic + it’s from a brand called Hydrea. BENEFITS – increases circulation, reduces appearance of cellulite, sheds dead skin cells, helps ingrown hairs, improves lymphatic drainage, rejuvenates the nervous system, detoxifies the body + eliminates clogged pores. Sooo how do you use it? Use on dry skin + work your way up the body in circular motions upwards towards the heart ensuring you are covering all areas.

BATH OIL – I have many bath oils that I use but my go to is my Neals Yard Soothing Bath Oil. It includes an aromatherapy blend of essential oils including Lavender, Geranium + Cypress alongside Soya, Almond + Wheatgerm oils to soften the skin. A bath oil is perfect to aid relaxation + can really make you feel like you’re at a spa.

BATH SALTS – I’ve been using bath salts for over a year now + genuinely feel they make a difference to how I feel. You can use Epsom Salts, Himalayan Pink Salt or Dead Sea Salt and they can be purchased in all health food shops or online. The salts contain magnesium + sulfate and are used as a natural remedy. BENEFITS – eases stress, relaxes the body, relieves pain + muscle cramps, improve heart health, relieves constipation, removes toxins + detoxifies the body and many more! I’d recommend using 2 cups per bath to reap the benefits.

BUBBLES + BATH BOMBS – Anyone that knows me knows I am OBSESSED with bath bombs. I like to fill up my jar on my bathroom shelf with bubble bars, bath bombs, bath melts in a variety of colours, scents + sizes. If you haven’t been into a LUSH store (GET THERE NOW) – buy yourself a few different products + I promise you…tub time will never be the same.

CANDLES – You have to create a spa like ambience for the perfect bubble bath + what better way to do this than with candles! I normally get my candles from THE WHITE COMPANY or NEOM ORGANICS. One particular candle I have been LOVING is my Wild Mint, Peppermint + White Tea one. It’s a really clean + refreshing scent…perfect for the bathroom.

FACE MASK – Once a week I like to give my skin a really intensive treatment + a product that is WINNING for me at the moment is the Neals Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm. A favourite amongst beauty bloggers, magazines etc. it has won many awards + I know why. It’s a multi-purpose balm and can be used as a cleanser, moisturiser, face mask, lip balm, primer, nail balm, heel softener, for burns + bites, hair treatment, on scars etc. I leave it on my face for around 30 minutes + rinse off with warm water + muslin cloth.

EXFOLIATE – My Neom Organics Wild Mint + Mandarin Body Scrub is one of the BEST products I have EVER EVER used. It’s super luxurious with the most gorgeous scent. It’s invigorating + is a fantastic exfoliator. With exfoliation I also do this normally once a week to get rid of all those dead skin cells…just scrub all over your body giving elbows + knees extra care + rinse off! It’s made from sugar + includes spearmint, lemon, mandarin peel, orange, safflower + jojoba oils + vitamin e.
