What does being a woman mean to you?
To me, being a woman means…supporting other women and building each other up, having the freedom and confidence to wear whatever I like, that I am never alone, being strong and independent, believing I can achieve anything I want to achieve, spreading love and positivity and last but not least it means I now appreciate more than ever what the female body can do. I grew a baby – the most INSANE and BEAUTIFUL thing I could have ever done as a woman.
Sooo to celebrate International Women’s Day this year, I am urging you all to go and TREAT YOURSELF. Do something for you…NOW and remind yourself how amazing you are.
Here’s my #GIRLBOSS wishlist and some cute ideas of gifts to purchase for yourself or friends.
Choose from Emmeline Pankhurst, Audrey Hepburn, Frida Kahlo, Florence Nightingale + Amelia Earhart! SO tempted to order a few of these for myself…
I discovered Sophie’s illustrations on cards in Paperchase recently and instantly had to start following her on Instagram. I LOVE her work. Her illustrations are colourful and empowering and would make a great addition to a desk or office space! You can buy Sophie’s cards in Paperchase or buy the prints with the link provided above. Who doesn’t need another coffee table book!? This looks like a really interesting read and is PERFECT for International Women’s Day.
Paperchase have recently launched their ‘FIERCE FEMALE’ collection and it is everything you need and more. It was so hard to choose just one item from the range but this notebook has to be top of my wishlist.
Who wouldn’t make great use of this gorgeous pouch from Mutha Hood!? It’s great for carrying your make-up, tampons, babywipes + nappy sacks, snacks…whatever you like!
The only t-shirt you need to be wearing on International Women’s Day. I love Milk Mutha’s slogan tees and this one is an absolute must have!
I mentioned these pins in my last post and this one I particularly love for International Women’s Day.
Another fabulous read from Oliver Bonas. Perfect if you are into books a little more artsy.
My new fave website, again I mentioned them in my Mother’s Day gift guide but they also have super cute tees, mugs + sweatshirt. The ‘WHO RUN THE WORLD’ sweatshirt makes such a fab gift as you can personalise it (and it’s pink + red, so of course it made the gift guide).
Please please please can someone send me these. How fun!? I LOVE LOVE LOVE THE MERINGUE GIRLS.

PEACE, LOVE + COCONUTS.
